The USSR is long gone. I get why you miss the Cold War, James Bond movies and sporting events like the Olympics are no fun anymore without the USSR around. Heck, the end of the Cold War even made space exploration boring for politicians.

What did we get in return for the end of the Cold War which had cool little side wars with awesome rock music sound tracks and fun nightlife in places like Saigon?
