France can close its borders and we will not, because France has a socialist leader who loves France, while we have a socialist leader who hates our country.
Until about the 1980's or early 1990's, even liberals (and European socialists) were patriotic, and sincerely if misguidedly supported policies that they thought were good for their country. Yesterday's liberals have been replaced by today's radicals, who actively conspire to destroy and subvert their nations. European nations have plenty of self-hating subversives in positions of power too, I guess Hollande happens to be one of the old school socialists who still have a vestigial interest in doing what's right for their countries.
