Shouting down guest speakers, disrupting events, and mobbing individuals would not be tolerated at Disney World, so why on campus?

When my mother died I inherited her books. One was Giant at the Crossroads. It ended frighteningly badly with the fall of Rome.
Since the opening of the floodgates to admit barely adult, poorly- or unqualified youths into the classrooms, the power structure of the campus has shifted from the faculty and administration into the hands of the student population and their organizers.
This shift began to be evident directly after government-backed tuition loans became available, allowing the colleges to to reap the nation's wealth by lowering the standards of both admissions and the quality of faculty applicants needed to process the magnifed undergraduate population.
This downward trend of quality is due to almost unrestricted access to loans by any child willing to mortgage his/her future to possess a diploma hardly worth the paper on which it is written, from a provider that treats each student as merely another cash cow to be herded by barely experienced instructors ill-fitted to prepare one for a promised meaningful future.

I think you are grossly understating the problem, from what I see it would appear that “students” are GRADUATING from college needing more years of remedial classes than they did when they started first grade. Certainly the immaturity being displayed would not have been tolerated for one minute in a first grade classroom circa 1950 when I entered first grade. Any college student acting in such a way in the state of South Carolina would most likely have wound up in a state hospital for the mentally ill.
Lest anyone be uncertain, allow me to add that I am not being in any way sarcastic or facetious. I mean the above comment to be taken literally.

If he’s implying that these graduates could get jobs at Disney World as greeters, he’s wrong.
Just who do these snowflakes think is going to hire them if and when they graduate. They are intent on obtaining a degree based on socialist ideals. That has not and will not work in the real world. Getting a job and dictating to your superior your work conditions will get you directions to the door. Then they will have to spend their time whining to some government official about how they were discriminated against.
I think a great many of them will try to get jobs in government, academia, or with sort of liberal-run, non-profit org. Some of them might grow up, but the vast majority will be involved with some sort of non-productive job. They will find some way to screw the tax-payer.
To find the dumbest and most ignorant children, go to a university.
Frankly, it’s a bunch of spoiled rotten little red libs attacking other spoiled rotten red libs.
