Anyone who supports Cruz gets smeared by Trump supporters as a RINO. Somehow an ersatz newbie conservative, like Trump, is supposed to be our champion and a brilliant, lifelong, fully dedicated conservative like Cruz to be ignored for a vulgar mountebank like Trump.

Cruz has ONE issue they always point to (h1b) as being the sole reason he is disqualified as a candidate. Trump has NUMEROUS reasons why he should be disqualified but they claim he has progressed (I have yet to see evidence of that by the way, just a lot of hot air so far) yet when Cruz changes his policy on immigration and releases an arguably stronger immigration policy than Trump, the trump folks ignore it.

Free Republic is becoming a very loud echo chamber for a very non-conservative candidate. It's VERY reminiscent of the same folks who were Willard supporters... I wish they would wake up and see the unknown they are supporting so blindly... It would be one thing if this had been 2012 or 2008. Trump would mark a huge difference from those candidates. We HAVE REAL conservative candidates this time around yet we are potentially going to squander it for a Hillary supporting, land grabbing socialist. Okay...
