Breaking with other governors who have warned that admitting Syrian refugees would undermine American security, Gov. Jerry Brown on Monday advocated preserving “America’s traditional role as a place of asylum†but stressed the need for thorough vetting.

Our piece of excrement governor here in Colorado said today to bring ‘em on in. Take the pledge, Hickenlooper. Pledge to commit suicide if any of these “refugees” kill an American citizen.

Last I checked, one of the few constitutional jobs that the federal government has is border security; it is the administration (after administration after administration) which has failed to secure the border.
Now that the government has bothered to actually mention where the refugees are supposedly to come from - camps where they have been for sometimes years in the application process, I’m far more comfortable with the process.
Of course, the government’s lack of being forthright with who is being brought over is the problem here. I, like most people, thought it was from the rabble of illegals who have invaded Europe that the ‘refugees’ were coming from. Instead, it appears to be legitimate refugees.
In any event, buy them some new tents and tell them there are some delays and vet them yet again. Won’t make that much of a difference in their lives, and in the mean time, offer some English language instruction.
Hey Moonbeam, I’m sure Assad and the Islamic state will be more than happy to give you info to screen them.
