I doubt if any of the ones doing this were even students. There are professional agitators trying to ramp up the thing, many of them connected to Organize For America, formerly Obama For America. This stuff is being choreographed, and the connections run all the way to the White House.

then i'd still sue the school for allowing an unsafe environment

and i'd demand ALL security camera footage so as to trace the the perps back to their vehicles and make them run the plates and then have them arrested for everything possible under the law

make it as absolutely uncomfortable on the school as possible, and if any of the parents are alumni, i'd push for the alumni benefactors to withhold any more donations till this mess was cleaned up

since all they know is money, hit them in the pocketbook

And if they were students they undoubtedly were of the useless major varieties i.e. anyting called "Studies".

Engineer, science, tech and business majors - you know, the ones that require actual STUDYING - don't have time for this bullshit.
