Trump on ISIS: US needs to "knock them out hard"

Donald Trump on Monday blasted President Obama’s foreign policy and called for better intelligence to combat Islamic militants in the wake of last week's attacks in Paris. “We have a president who just doesn’t get it. He’s weak and ineffective," the Republican presidential candidate said on CNBC's "Squawk Box."

Islam is like a hydra. Kill one head and another takes its place. Ultimately we are going to have to admit that islam itself is a problem and then figure out what to do about it.

It can either be reformed or eliminated. But until it is dealt with, jihad will never stop.

Donny ought to just come out and say that we need some intelligence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The DoD and our intelligence people warned about ISIS beginning 3 years ago - and the White Hut shut down any kind of sensible plan to destroy or severely hurt them. Carson doesn’t get it. That or he’s on the terrorists’ side. On Fox, yesterday afternoon, he was asked what he’d do if he were POTUS. He stumbled around so the reporter was forced to ask several times if he would declare war and put boots on the ground. The best he could do was say he’d take it to social media.

Also, Obama doesn't get it or he is supporting them. This morning on FOX Jeb Bush was asked how to fight ISIS, and he said enforce a no-fly zone, whatever that means. Nobody followed up on asking how this would help since ISIS has no air force.

Trump's ideas make sense.
