This isn't the only occasion Trump has used a tragedy to further his own agenda, and it certainly isn't the first time he criticized gun control in France. Following the January Charlie Hebdo attacks, Trump tweeted, "Isn't it interesting that the tragedy in Paris took place in one of the toughest gun control countries in the world?" "His own agenda..." interesting choice of words.
