Source: 6 semi-automatic rifles and 10 pistols stolen from gun locker at Army Reserve center
Six M4 assault rifles, 10 pistols, and several long guns were taken from the armory, according to the source. The break-in was discovered Sunday morning. The armory’s alarms did not go off, according to the source, who added they may have been disabled due to continuing construction.

This happened at the air base in France where I was stationed back in the 1960s. Some Algerians broke into the gun room and stole some weapons at a sister base. I wound up pulling gun room duty one night with a pea shooter to defend myself but that’s just the brass covering their rear end.
