Frankly Norm, I think running from the fight to take over the Republican Party is cowardly of conservatives.
But it’s stupid to not run conservatives against some of them in the General election.
We have to do both.

There is a difference between cowardly and futile. Tell me the benefit of retaking the GOP.

It is filled with left wingers and mercenaries that all have to go.

It is so brand damaged that it’s own members are gun shy about calling themselves Republicans in public.

It has 30 years of horrid baggage that will haunt it forever and cannot be wished away.

So what exactly is the upside here? Name recognition that causes people to cringe when they hear it or see it? A strong history of social and moral principles that evaporated after Reagan left DC?

What?

Tell me the upside here. No joke. No sarcasm. i do not see a single reason to save/retake the gop that does not have a better argument against it. But I am open to listening to one.
