French fighter jets have dropped 20 bombs on the Islamic State (IS) stronghold of Raqqa in northern Syria.
The planes hit a jihadi recruitment centre, training camp and arms depot run by the group, according to the French defence ministry.
The bombing raid was France's biggest to date in Syria, and was launched from air bases in United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

I’m sure that SecState John Kerry, who happens to speak French, will try to get the French to negotiate with ISIS and to understand how the French have oppressed them and that the French should understand that and beg ISIS forgiveness and pay them money for those brave suicide bomber’s families.

That was my reaction. The networks and Faux News drama queens are reporting this as “massive airstrikes”.
Massive if it is a single target, not so much over multiple targets.

Depends how much nuance & angry letters the bombs contain. If there is a lot of nuance and angry letterage in each bomb, then multiply that times 20 - not 2 or 3 or 5 or10 - but 20 - and you get a sense of just how much those terrorist attacks are going to cost ISIS.
But the war and the enemy are not in Syria, they are in Paris, where both the Parisians and the ISISians are acting in accordance with each other's goals: One: Homocide, One: Suicice. Europe is in perfect harmony. The world always is.
