Found this in the article. Makes you go Hmmm.

"Since 2013, the Palm Beach County Republican Committee has held its annual Lincoln Day fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago. Michael Barnett, committee chairman, remembers seeing Cruz last year deep in conversation with Trump and wonders if one of the reasons they are so friendly on the campaign trail is because of a bond forged at Mar-a-Lago."

Trump and Cruz do appear to have a special bond. They also met over the summer at Trump Tower in New York which is the source of that much posted photo below of Trump and Cruz with Cruz's suit jacket sleeves being too long. My theory on that was Cruz left his jacket in the car (it was a hot day) and didn't expect his picture to be taken. When it was, Trump probably loaned him one of his.

So what kind of deal might they have with each other?

Well I think it is fair to say that without Trump being in the race, Jebbie Bush would have the nomination just about all wrapped up by now and that all the vitriol that was directed at Trump these past few months would have been directed instead at Cruz.

So perhaps Trump agreed to run for president to keep the heat off Cruz. And in the case Trump actually happened to win the nomination and election, he would have a spot for Cruz in his administration (if not VP). And likewise should Cruz be the winner.

There are going to be a whole bunch of disappointed "Trump/Cruz" dreamers if Trump wins.

There is no way Trump would take Cruz as VP.

If Trump was going have any Cruz as VP he should get Heidi. She has more accomplishments and experience in politics/foreign policy, finance and business than Ted...Ted's a dud.

Seems when seeing TRUMP in one of his rallies on Fri or Sat - Lord can’t remember which or even where he was seen— Iowa I believe, the man commented on how he admired Sen. Ted Cruz and had a very good relationship with him. But of course, it was once stated that he had a good relationship with Gov. Perry as well, and we all know what became of that. TRUMP and CRUZ have met together more than once. Would love to have been a fly on that wall to listen to the complete discussion.

GO TRUMP! GO CRUZ!! ~ YOU WIN OR WE LOSE!
