Islamic terrorists may have targeted Bataclan Club in Paris Friday due to its Jewish owners.
At least 100 people were slaughtered at Bataclan Friday by Islamic extremists.

Times of Israel reported:
French magazine Le Point says the Bataclan theater has for years been the target of anti-Zionist groups as its Jewish owners often put on pro-Israel events.
The publication quotes a member of the extremist group Army of Islam, who told French security services in 2011 that, “We had planned an attack against the Bataclan because its owners are Jews.”
The Eagles of Death Metal, the band performing at the theater when the attacks began, played in Tel Aviv’s Barby club in July.

The targeting of Jewish-owned enterprises by Muslims is an attempt to push a wedge between Jews and Christians in the west, to undercut non-Jewish support for Israel.
It works to some extent as I have heard educated libertarian voices decry our (American/Christian) support of Israel on talk shows and such.
And there are some otherwise conservative rank and file who can easily be convinced that Israel or “the Jews” are the problem.
Frankly, in my Christian opinion, even in its best of times the US-Israel alliance has NEVER been as strong as it ought to be. I had uncles who slogged their way across Europe in part to liberate the Nazi death camps—modern day Israel is the manifestation of that heroic effort (and many other such efforts).
If we turn our backs on Israel we are renouncing the outcome of WWII. That’s unthinkable yet...
Were any of the victims Jewish? Probably not.

I'm a little skeptical, though given the importance of symbolism it's possible. Not a game changer, even the French knows Jewish institutions are particularly vulnerable, that's why they have over 10,000 troops guarding them. And have had over hundreds of attacks on soldiers guarding them. Mostly stone and bottle throwing. But I doubt they guard Jewish owned business', so it might be an easier symbolic target for the jihadists. But to my knowledge there's been no mention of this.
