Applying your premise that judging the worth of individual human lives is something we do all the time, you're not very good at it. In fact your post shows that in contrast to other people who may judge others based on their character, contributions to society, effect on the world, etc. you simply judge them based on nothing at all. How does that suggest we should judge you?
I am quite familiar with the band. You may regard them as gifted musicians; I don’t, but that is beside the point. My cavalier treatment of the name, however, was one way of indicating how unimportant in the overall scheme of things they and other pop celebrities are. If you care to look, my original point had to do with the initial post being ecstatic that the famous ones got out without a thought for the others.
