Thanks, thackney. Winter is coming on, and the construction season for anything that requires a hole in the ground and backfill on top is getting short.

Processing facilities have been struggling to keep up with not just demand (by the increase in produced gas) but with projected growth in feedstocks (raw gas). With prices low, economics become more difficult, too.

The industry has been expanding facilities at an incredible rate, upticks in the curve for flaring are either the result of plant shutdowns for maintenance or addition of new facilities (tie-in).
