One of the principle reasons why welders aren’t earning more is the number of jobs in that field taken over by illegal aliens.

Frankly a hamburger flipper is more valuable to society than a philosophy major. If any job is not even worth minimum wage it is a philosopher.

The high-paying welding jobs, in auto assembly plants for example, have been taken over by robots.

Welder trained individuals are earning more than philosopher trained individuals. I think that’s what was meant....not that I get any joy out of defending Rubio, who minutes later on Hannity came out for amnesty...something he didn’t have the guts to do during the debate.

Take all the folks with undergrad degrees in philosophy and all those with school trained welder certification and compare the percentage with higher wages.
