Investments Carson and his wife made through Costa earn the couple between $200,000 and $2 million a year, according to financial records that Carson was required to file when he declared his candidacy.

Costa also continues to promote his involvement with Carson's charity as part of his real estate business, prominently featuring the logo of the Carson Scholars Fund on the company's website.

His son has worked with Carson's presidential campaign and a political committee founded by the retired neurosurgeon.

Well at least it wasn’t a slum in Chicago.

Then he would be in the clear.

Did a convicted felon pay for his house, such as the convicted felon in Chicago who paid for Obama’s house? Inquiring minds do remember that.

So he knew a dentist. He and the dentist decided to buy property together as a legal investment. The investment did well and he receives between $200k and $2 million per year in income from the investment.

At some point the dentist was convicted f Medicare fraud and was prosecuted. Dr. Carson as a friend an business associate wrote to the court and acted as a character witness to help out his friend.

The investment was never considered fraudulent or anything but above board and continues to produce income.

Is that the story?

Not a big deal but some of these revelations do indicate somewhat less thasn stellar judgement on Carson’t part.

All of Trump’s business associates were nuns.

Point being that Republicans who were outraged about Rezko (or Whitewater) should be similarly outraged by Costa, or else they are hypocrites, right?

HIs friend was convicted of medical insurance fraud, a crime that Carson said in his book should result in a loss of medical license and a sentence of 10 years. However, Carson went to court for Costa and asked for leniency.

I’m sure Costa is keeping his fingers crossed for a full Presidential pardon.

I wonder if this was leaked by Trump. He has a lot of real estate contacts.

Yeah, but they all sounded like a cross between Tony Soprano and Joe Pecsie when they talked.

I told ya. The MINUTE Carson got ahead of Trump, the drive-bys thought they had Trump, and Carson was going to be fair game. They would knock him out and substitute Cruz (hence, all the warm up articles about how great Cruz is) then, once Cruz was "ahead" of Trump, they would take him out and substitute their real nominee, Rubio.

Trump has refused to play along and is still #1 in almost every poll. But this is their plan, don't kid yourself.
