Well, you’re going to get evangelism here. But nobody forces it down your throat. You can always ignore it.
The main focus of life is to glorify Christ, the God of Israel and to live joyfully with him forever. Politics will not save one soul at all, whether it is good or evil, as it is God who determines Salvation as He purchased it with the strength of His Arm by Jesus Christ.
Unfortunately, many so called conservatives (even on here) are athiests/agnostic or oppose religion in general. They are fiscal conservatives, not social.
And religion should play a part in being conservative, or have you not bothered to read CS Lewis’ Screwtape Letters?
