Aside from the outrageous behavior of the SSA in facilitating the crime, it points out one more serious problem with any Amnesty.
The illegals have committed far more crimes then just crossing the border “without inspection”.
Their everyday existence is one long string of State and Federal felonies: tax evasion, work without authorization, driving without license, fraud against their employers (”I yam a ceet-ee-zen!”), etc etc.
Any amnesty will have to absolve them of ALL of these crimes.
If not, then by what right does our government arrest any of us?
The laws are selectively applied.
