Corporal punishment up through elementary school, a mix of corporal punishment, suspension, and expulsion in middle school, and then long-term suspension or expulsion for high school. Maybe detention for tardies.. A lot of the ‘restorative justice’ or ISS type measures are a waste of time.

The school district where I live has a program for kids that are too disruptive to be in regular school. They sit in a special class where they are allowed to do whatever they want and say whatever they want.

Sounds to me like giving a bottle of Mad Dog to an alcoholic.
