Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz were almost universally judged the big winners Tuesday night by a group of neutral observers who spoke to me shortly after the fourth and latest televised forum concluded in Milwaukee. They almost unanimously put Carly Fiorina in the winner’s circle with Rubio and Cruz. Their praise of the California businesswoman’s performance on stage Tuesday was in sharp contrast to the widespread panning she drew after the last debate in October. “Cruz and Rubio built on their previous strong performances at [the last debate in] Boulder,” historian David Pietrusza, author of four acclaimed books on presidential election years, told me, “They are born pros. It showed tonight, though neither unleashed the spectacular moments both had in Colorado.

I saw something else that said Rubio did very poorly.

Guess it all depends on the personal opinion and biases of the writer.

Rubio said he would be tough on illegals, crony capitalism, big government, or other RINO strongholds.

But I still had the sense Rubio’s words mean nothing. He says conservative words, but I feel he has no intention of following through if he were elected.

It is as if Rubio has been told by his GOP Elite handlers that it is ok to bash big business and other RINO pets to get elected.

I don't take this sort of article seriously at all. "Universally judged to be the winner by a group of neutral observers". Sure. Whatever. Your mom, wife and little brother maybe.

An article saying "I think Rubio won" would at least be a reasonable exposition. To claim that "clearly" someone won is preposterous and casts doubt on the honesty of the writer.

The social media polls at least have thousands of respondents.

Drudge poll Results, on the podium:

Rubio also did a respectable 4th at 12%.

We do have some clear losers in the Drudge Poll: Bush at 1% and Kasich at 1.5%.

I just got an email from the RNC asking me to vote for last night’s winner. Guess whose picture is first and whose is last?
