“alternative shoppers”
LMAO!
Thatâs not just shooting, that is cool under pressure.
That's a future Marine....
Agreed. And that with two adult men returning fire. Quite cool.
Reminds me of the New York musician's joke, 'How do you get to Carnegie Hall?'
'Practice, practice, practice!'
That is the Felony Murder Rule . Commit a felony, someone (ANYONE) dies in the commission of it, and you're on the hook. The classic example is a getaway driver (who never enters the store) who is charged with murder when the shopkeep fires at the gunman and accidentally kills a customer. Driver never went inside, because they didn't want to get in trouble... and still get a murder pinned to them.
He said then that excessive force shouldn’t be used just because someone was stealing from you.

Over the years, we’ve had at least 3 notorious incidents of criminals breaking into houses & committing horrific murder .... why should a criminal breaking in get the benefit of the doubt? My attitude is that if someone breaks into my home, they have already demonstrated a complete lack of respect for the law, for the property of others and how am I to know if that extends to a lack of respect for human life? I don’t need to know if they have a gun ... or if they will pick up something in the house such as a knife, or a baseball bat, or a golf club, or a fireplace poker, even a belt or zip ties, etc. If they set foot in my home under those circumstances, I fear for my life and will defend it and I won’t be asking questions or looking to see if they are “armed” first.
There are a few really accurate .45acp tools now available. One, Rock Island Armory, is producing a flared barrel model which doesn’t use the barrel bushing and locks up when the slide seats. Good tools ...
America is in danger of losing much of it’s rich cultural heritage if many more of these aspiring rappers are killed off by our ignoring this appalling and unnecessary gun violence.
OK ... it’s a “journalist” who wrote this, but ...
Let’s say this really was a .45 ACP semi automatic - a Colt 1911.
My P220 with an extended mag holds 10 rounds. This ‘kid’ hit the perp three times, lethally, and then ALSO hit a fleeing vehicle.
did he reload? ;-)
HOLY CRAP. Good shot for ANYONE in a high-adrenaline civilian shoot.
Facts would be interesting here ...
Sounds like he's had plenty of range time or better still plinking time. Was that a 1911 Colt or a Colt Peacemaker?
Agree completely. As I said, Logic in not an attribute of a Liberal mind.
Either one makes really big holes......but, two completely different platforms. I can't imagine a 13 year old with the presence of mind to reload either one in a firefight and continuing though....but you never know.

A few years back my bicycle was stolen. Had I caught the thief in the act, I would have shot him/her.
That wasn’t just any bicycle, that was my bicycle.
I have liberal “acquaintances” .... they have told me to my face they want to take MY gun away .... if there are no legal guns, there will be no violent crime (the logic of minds that evidently has as many holes as Swiss Cheese). They also think that anyone “armed” at a school (security, police resource officers, teachers who carry, etc.) does nothing but “frighten the children” so they are totally on board with gun free zones. Of course, when the schools get shot up & kids killed by the mentally ill, their “logic” is that I should give up MY gun.
In the last two years, I have begun purging my social circle of folks like these ... keeps my BP a whole lot lower.
The 13 year kid needs to train police officers.
Most of the .45 colts used in training in the service are shot out junk with barrels as smooth as a water pipe and bushings as tight as your underwear after you have lost 40 pounds.
It's not the fault of the weapon's design it is the quartermaster who doesn't bother to replace worn out equipment.
Uh-oh...that changes it from self-defense to attempted murder! At least, in my state...
We had a rash of bike thefts in our neighborhood when our boys were young. I wanted to wire a bike to an electric cord, leave it outside and wet the ground, to cause the thief to have an "accident". Mrs. JimRed in her wisdom forbid it.
Well said.
And that exact line of thinking should be extended to immigration.
Good boy! Now, you are a man.
