Agree, the flap over the red cups is stupid and only gives progressives another reason to think ill of conservatives and/or Christians.
Other than that, I am sick of all the ‘outrage’ over EVERYTHING, by everyone.
I’m not on Facebook, but my 21 yo daughter showed me something that a Christian had posted on FB about the controversy. They said that writing Merry Christmas on the cup and creating a brouhaha over it would not win over anyone to our cause. But perhaps acting like a loving Christian, and trying to engage in a civil conversation about it might. Reminds me somewhat of the religion forum here, where the vitriol flies and no hearts are converted. I think we, as Christians, need to rethink our methods of changing minds and hearts. Vitriol and belligerence might make you feel better but isn’t going to bring anyone around to our way of thinking.
