Snowflakes has nothing to do with it. Why did they change their design? I don’t care, but considering it is just the latest little slap at Traditional Americanism, it tends to bring all the other affronts of the past into the forefront. Just the Second Amendment issue is enough to turn me off of Starbucks AND all the other businesses who keep trying to get into the Social Issues game instead of minding their own business and running a business instead of trying to shape the way people think and live.
You do realize Starbucks never had Christian or religious symbols on its coffee cups before, right? And that they continue to sell products that proclaim "Merry Christmas"?
Just the Second Amendment issue is enough to turn me off of Starbucks
I don't go to Starbucks because they make crappy, overpriced coffee. That's reason enough.
They change their design every year. And the designs are never overtly Christmas-oriented, so this year's is no different in that respect.
Just the Second Amendment issue is enough to turn me off of Starbucks AND all the other businesses who keep trying to get into the Social Issues game instead of minding their own business and running a business instead of trying to shape the way people think and live.
There, I agree. I had forgotten about their little Second Amendment debacle.
