Who is dumb enough to buy their coffee in the first place?

While eating at a restaurant last weekend, the wife and I were looking out the window. Across the street in a small strip mall was a Starbucks. The line of cars that drove into their drive-up lane was endless. It lasted the length of our meal.

I was sort of shocked. I had no idea SBs was that popular in our area.

Stopped drinking Starbucks years ago. Problem is I love the Chicken Salad with Cranberry and Tarragon sandwich. It falls into the category of best thing I ever ate.

One of the reasons as I see it is that Starbucks is a monopoly on coffee houses. There used to be coffee houses. There used to be even competing ones with Starbucks. Now there are none.

That has to do with the new laws that make very hard to compete. What other choice is there than Starbucks. McDonalds tried a few years ago to compete on coffee and that went nowhere.

So the reason you see the Starbucks lines is that there is no other place to go. Starbucks is a fascist monopoly.
