Anger and pain have been simmering at Yale University over a series of racial controversies that took place over Halloween weekend.
The tension on campus started with a two-sentence post on Facebook by Yale sophomore Neema Githere, in reference to a party on the Friday before Halloween.
"I'd just like to take a moment to give a shoutout to the member of Yale's SAE chapter who turned away a group of girls from their party last night, explaining that admittance was on a 'White Girls Only' basis; and a belated shoutout to the SAE member who turned me and my friends away for the same reason last year. God Bless the USA."

Oh my, how upsetting.
"This email and the subsequent reaction to it have interrupted their lives," she wrote. "I have friends who are not going to class, who are not doing their homework, who are losing sleep, who are skipping meals, and who are having breakdowns. I feel drained."
Oh, the simmering anger and pain ...
*drink*
I feel their pain. Perhaps a mass student suicide is in order. How better to send a message to your oppressors?
“Hey, guys, there’s a black chick at the door, wants to partaaaay!”
“What’s her name?”
“She says she’s Crystal Mangum.”
“Never heard of her. Tell ‘er to bug off.”
“Hey, man, what if she rats us out as racist?”
“You’re probably right. Let her in. What could go wrong?”
Does Yale have a drama department?
Used to be frats had parties and invited certain sororities, not every female trolling for a kegger
I remember a time, when I was a senior at college, when I went to the main building in the center of campus (it is a chapel, if you can believe it) to get my typical afternoon snack of a half-moon cookie.
But I was met at the door by a black dude wearing a leather jacket and real dark shades. He told me I wasn’t allowed in because it was a meeting of the Black Students Administration, or some such, and they had taken over the whole building. The snack bar was closed.
I meekly walked away and got my snack somewhere else.
This was in about 1978, so 37 years ago.
I was about to post that same excerpt. This is the response to the mere possibility that somebody might wear a Halloween costume that somebody else might find offensive. And these same people are then supposed to run the country????
Sounds like BS to me.
Maybe it’s even true.
A culling of the herd, evolution in action. Maybe a JC is a better choice.
Yale University President Peter Salovey took that message a step further. âWe failed you,â Salovey, told students, according to The Washington Post.
This last part makes me sick. The President could have used this opportunity to tell these students to grow up. And he probably would have been cheered by most of the campus. Instead, he chooses to grovel.
The chances that this actually happened at Yale are approximately zero.
There's every likelihood that doing that would have resulted in his dismissal from Yale, and the abrupt and irrevocable end of his academic career.
you know how many sororities and fraternities are blacks only?? to many to count...
What evidence is there that this “White girls only” statement actually happened? Is it on video? Remember the videotape refuting the racism charges by a black Texas professor. Where racism does not exist, the left will make it up.
