I'm 53, and I've NEVER understood the devotion, the fervor, the worship of Pink Floyd's music.
It was basically a presupposition in the 70s and 80s that one was supposed to LOVE that band.
“... I’ve NEVER understood the devotion, the fervor, the worship of Pink Floyd’s music.”
Me either. Personally I find their music boring. Every time one of their songs comes on the radio I change the channel.
54 y.o. dittos. Some of the music is pretty decent, some I listen to just because it was played so much while I was young, but it is definitely over-rated.
And Waters is a POS.

Agree.
I don’t think they were a bad band, but, in my opinion, they were not unusually talented, either.
“Comfortably Numb” is the only song I enjoy, and only after Roger Waters hired The Band and Van Morrison to help him perform it.
