How about the Muslim call to prayer that blankets a neighborhood? How is that different?
To: SoFloFreeper
I bet if Muslims wanted to use that venue for beheadings, the venue staff would sharpen their swords for them, and beam about how diverse and tolerant they are.

Just a little reminder....Canada does NOT have a First Amendment.
Hence a peon city bureaucrat is actually able to exercise this sort of power.
Bring back Rob Ford!

>>>Belman said the performers proselytized at VON’s Aug. 1 event, which she attended. “If you’re praising Jesus, ‘praise the Lord,’ and ‘there’s no God like Jehovah,’ that type of thing, that’s proselytizing....”
Jehovah?!?!? Jehovah is for Jehovah Witnesses only!

Of course. Just like progressives who find anyone who disagrees with them.

It’s my policy not to visit large cities if I know they are run by liberals.
First, I know they will not control panhandling and other illegal activity.
Second, I know tolerance of insanity is allowed.
I used to regularly visit Seattle and San Francisco, but no more. Why should I spend my dollar in these awful places. There are other cities on my list. Now I add Toronto, which I probably wasn’t going to visit anyway.

FWIW, Toronto is majority foreigner, IIRC. The more I hear of that city, the less I want to visit it.

The more I hear of that city, the less I want to visit it. In the late 90's, I frequently traveled to Toronto for business; great city and always a good time.
I'm not very interested in going there now

She is right, they are trying to spread the message. Too bad she can’t hear it. She will regret that some day.

“I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” and “White Christmas” are on the approved list. Actually, they first have to change the latter song title “White Winter Solstice Holiday” before it is approved.
Scratch that. It’ll have to be changed to “Person’s of Pallor Winter Solstice Holiday” to get approved.

We’re never going to solve these problems without killing people. I’m sorry to say that but it’s the conclusion I’ve come to.

I agree completely! I think we not only need a total boycott by conservatives of any city 'governed' by liberals (and that is most of them); we also need to MOVE AWAY, those of us who live there, to places more friendly to the Bill of Rights. If it causes economic disruption, so be it.
