I guess I mean something a bit more binding than if you apply and are accepted, you can expect to receive in the neighborhood of x dollars in scholarships/grants and the like.

I have a daughter who attended college on a full scholarship so I am somewhat familiar with the process.

But not until the application was in and she was accepted did the negotiations of real scholarship dollars begin.

I had a pretty good idea of what schools would offer me before I applied.

When my sons were ready for college, we had a pretty good idea of what they would be offered before they applied

Even though by the time they were in high.school, they didn’t want go to the,academies, they knew that appointment to them came with tuition, room & board, paid in full.,
