A “moderate” haji just looking for a reason to go all out. Almost all of them have chips on their shoulders. Unfortunately, most people have never been exposed to that culture and have no clue what can possibly set them off and are totally shocked and surprised when they finally do.
Theology matters, folks. The kind of God you believe in may be pretty much the kind of God you are actually going to get, at least on this earth.
