The moral equivalence your trying to draw is exactly the atmosphere she wanted to create. Congratulations! You're a dupe and a fool.

The PA AG has repeatedly covered up evidence of actual corruption, in additional to scuttling investigations against her party [That would be Democrats for you "Uniparty" morons.] She is guilty of a number of process crimes and she is almost certainly guilty of felony extortion.

There is NO moral equivalence whatsoever between a bunch of idiots with a Fratboy mentality passing around dirty pictures and a truly corrupt official who has abused her office to shield her friends and advance the Left's agenda.

None.

Thanks for the further elaboration. I was only presenting a single bit of the whole catalog of Kathleen Kane's [known] crimes. As I suggested, there are more. And knowing how powerful politicians use the apparat there are no doubt hundreds of other abuses that don't rise to the level of crimes that we'll never know about: Racialist and sexist "policy positions," refusals to prosecute crimes she or her Party don't find objectionable, special pleadings for "protected" classes, and so on.

The claim that she's "exposed" the rest of "The Uniparty" is patent horse poop. She threatened to use these emails long before she actually did it, which makes her an extortionist in addition to her other transgressions. The idea that there is some moral equivalence between sending questionable or even vile materials via e-mail and the criminal abuse of office Kane is guilty of is revolting, and truly makes me wonder what has happened to FR.

Haven’t you seen enough by now to know that the ruling elites do not have to obey the law.

Unless they are Republicans.

Ok I’ll take your word for it....I was living in Scranton when this whole Sandusky thing went down, as dirty and sickening as it was, she did good on that one...

I know that Corbett has a lot to do with her on the radio with his brand of garbage...but ok..it will all come out someday, like everything else does...

I was living in Scranton when this whole Sandusky thing went down, as dirty and sickening as it was, she did good on that one...

She did not do anything related to the Sandusky case. Sandusky was convicted before she took office. She ran for AG on the basis of a whisper-campaign that Tom Corbett had mishandled the Jerry Sandusky investigation.

No, he didn't.

And an "independent" commission, personally selected by Kathleen Kane to investigate her rumor campaign found that Corbett was not guilty of any wrongdoing, foot dragging, or process or investigation-related impropriety. None. Corbett impaneled the original Grand Jury that investigated Sandusky. Corbett's hand-picked successor, Linda Kelly, prosecuted the case. They convicted Sandusky on all but three of 48 counts. Hardly a "bungled" investigation or "whitewash" prosecution.

As has been the case throughout her career, Kathleen Kane's "involvement" in the Jerry Sandusky case consisted of slinging mud at other people after the fact ... mudslinging that produced -- as usual -- EXACTLY NOTHING.

Oh please.

I know she's scum. I'm just pleased as punch that she's showing us that they're ALL scum.

BTW, Freddie - the Uniparty is NOT mythical.

On a final note: I'm bummed you changed your tagline ...

Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.
Uniparty, Uniparty, Uniparty, Uniparty.
Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.
Uniparty, Uniparty, Uniparty, Uniparty.

This is what passes for rational thought with half of FR these days. Especially n00bs like you.

the Uniparty is NOT mythical.

It's real only in the minds of deranged people.

Kathleen Kane repeatedly took moves to protect her Party. Not Republicans. Democrats.

Wise up, Trumpbot.

I agree - your n00bness is annoying, Fred.

You would have thunk that a '98er would have figured out by now that there's only one party in Washington...

Freddie is trying to toot his little '98er horn, but after consulting my FR records from 1998, I find that little Freddie wasn't as mouthy then as he is now.

He didn't work up the gumption to actually post something until nearly the middle of December, 1998 - even though he signed up around the time of The March in late October (which I drove to Washington for, to hang out with many of my fellow '97ers and the early '98ers. It was swell.).

Hey, you're an early '98er! Did you make it to DC for the March?

That was a beautiful day. :)

Yeah, the drive was long enough for me. It would be nearly twice as long for a Squarehead.

The forum was fired up the whole time, though. :)

If I had a dime for every n00b who claims to have been here forever lurking but really really really being part of the FReeper activism way back in the Compuserve days, I’d be as rich a Donald Trump. And I’d have roughly nine times his IQ.
