Many people got into trouble when they were young but changed later.
There’s a relative in our family who supposedly had a very bad temper as a young person. You’d never know it now by this person’s careful, thoughtful way of speaking.
Come to think of it, maybe that explains Carson’s way of speaking — maybe it’s the way he learned to control his temper.
His ‘thug past’ is likely a Brian Williams-type story. It made for good reading.

I think Dr. Carson has always given the caveat that he wouldn’t use real names when discussing his checkered past.
He's been triggering my "spidey sense" for a while now - gives me the heebie jeebies.
When does “fictitious” become “it was a lie”?

Now that’s a good cover story, isn’t it. Say it was a relative, and he doesn’t want to go public. In other words, no way to verify, is there. Very clever Doc. I’ll give you marks for ingenuity. And of course Mom, the other convenient relative, won’t talk either, will she, as she’s probably dead, or will remain mum (pardon the pun).
I figured something else out...Carson is the GOPe plant to take votes away from Trump so Hillary can win and the media, talking heads and RINOs are all in on it...
Trump didn't get SS protection because of some drug cartel pandering drugs, he's being protected because these are money hungry powerful people that are going down and loosing their jobs if Trump wins....Trump/Cruz are in this to win...they both have jobs to do..
Trump pulled back the drape last week on the dirty, corrupted debate situation and caught pusbus red handed in his ‘back room deals’ and he will be gone if Trump/Cruz wins...the media is lying to us on the poll numbers to make us jump ship...if we stand up to this and fight, they loose....
Found out “Mom” is still alive and living with Ben, her son who allegedly went after her with a hammer to the head. So, she is going to just remain mum (mum’s the word, and once again, pardon the pun).
