In truth our Constitution is NOT defended by the government, it is defended by we the people. Our 1% “owners” and their corporate media toadies understand this and seek to keep us all divided by race, ethnicity, religion, class... whatever works! But when despots, be they judges or presidents disregard the founding principles of our country, it is not only our right but our responsibility to remove them from power! Such was the prime reason for the 2nd Amendment!

A brilliant sentence which says something so simple and obvious that most people cannot understand it. The constitution is supposed to defend the people from the government and that requires that the people defend the constitution from the government, naturally the government cannot be expected to defend the constitution, the government will not even admit that the constitution says what it plainly says, they make up absurd new meanings and then tell us that we lack the legal background to understand what it really says. How did that story about the emperor’s new clothes go again?
