Quentin Tarantino offered nothing even close to an apology on Tuesday for calling cops âmurderersâ â and instead pathetically claimed he has been victimized by police unions.
Speaking publicly for the first time since his inflammatory comments at a Washington Square Park rally on Oct. 24, the Pulp Fiction Âdirector insisted his words were all taken out of context. All cops are not murderers,â TarÂantino told the Los Angeles Times. I never said that. I never even implied that.
What theyâre doing is pretty obvious. Instead of dealing with the incidents of police brutality that those people were bringing up, instead of examining the problem of police brutality in this country, better they single me out.
And their message is very clear. Itâs to shut me down. Itâs to discredit me. It is to intimidate me. It is to shut my mouth and, even more important than that, it is to send a message out to any other prominent person that might feel the need to join that side of the argument
At the rally against âpolice terror,â Tarantino said, âWhen I see murders, I do not stand by . I have to call a murder a murder and I have to call the murderers the murderers.â The 52-year-old filmmaker also told the LA Times that he wonât back down in the face of a threatened boycott of his new movie âThe Hateful Eight,â to be released Christmas Day.

Next time there’s a B&E chez Tarantino, don’t even bother calling the police.
I hate to say “Good!” ... but, good! If he really believes what he says and is not sorry he said it, he shouldn’t apologize. The fake apology is a very tiresome aspect of public life, and we need fewer of them.
Now if others want to dislike Mr. Tarantino and say so very forcefully, they should do so unapologetically.
The Police should turn down Police protection on his next movie
He’s an ugly little man who made a couple of good films.
If supporting Hollywood is what you do, then blame yourself for the cultural rot that persists in American culture today.
He always wanted to be a Negro-mission accomplished!
I don't agree with Tarantino, I think he's a leftwing lunatic, but I don't see how this quote above is the same as saying all cops are murderers.
Don’t ignore the words “rise up”. This is the goal and the vision of the radical left. They are trying to stir up the underclass and get it so angry that it rises up against their “oppressors” (whites, police) and destabilizes the civil order, leading to strife and violence, and an overthrow of the existing structure.
See communist playbook.
I just took a huge Tarantino.
Right on!
Spot on! There is a deep cesspool of Communist sentiment in the Hollywood Left. It is good their debauched lifestyle causes many to die early and not torment the world with their demented BS. I wish Tarantino a short life.
Talk Tarantino into putting on a policeman’s uniform - then drop him off in the middle of the Baltimore ghetto...
“The man’s ego is writing checks that he can’t cash.”
I expect Hollywood to give Tarantino awards at the coming award shows.
The war by the Left against the rest of us is relentless.
