The fact that it’s mostly men cross-dressing tells you it’s not a biological or natural thing at all. More likely these men are jealous of the attention women get for their looks, in addition to having low self-esteem in general, and try to deal with it by enacting this cross-dressing fantasy. What is most deplorable is when they want to force the rest of us to participate in it.
At lot of these guys aren't even gay. Bruce Jenner isn't gay. Ed Wood wasn't gay. They still liked women. All the brouhaha that happened in Planet Fitness a few months back, turned out that guy was a "part time" crossdresser. In short, a pervert who was using changing social mores as a green light to hang out in the women's locker rooms.
