I’m referring to his SECRET (but in plain sight) superpowers. I don’t want to mention his secret (but in plain sight) humor weapon because I don’t want to jinx it although I have seen a few posts that sort of alluded to it.
:-) I know what you’re talking about. I agree. His policy positions are dead on, but what you’re talking about is the point where people start to ‘love this guy’. It’s totally endearing.
He *relates* to people & they relate to him. Nobody else has that.
His humor makes him very likeable, as well as keeping the audience tuned in because you don’t know when it will be coming. Like ‘you guys write this stuff.’ It can be condescending and is done in a memorable way that lasts longer than if he just said his point straight out. It appears to be off the cuff, and could be, but has a lasting impression.
