Maybe a M1919 Browning fell out of the sky too. But, I’m sure there would be a proverbial boating accident.

I looked up in the air, and an M37 Browning [like a 1919, but feeds from either the left or right side, like a .50 M2]on a parachute was floating down my way.
The spam cans had the little *yellow brassiere* emblem indicating linked ammo. They looked a whole lot like this:
