A veterans advocacy group is criticizing the plan to reform the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) released by Donald Trump.
Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) said the plan was “heavy of rhetoric, light on specifics†in a statement on Saturday.

After having read Trump's book written in 2010, I don't think he is pandering. He respects the military.

And there is the crux of the matter. As if we need any more examples of failure, incompetence, manifest through veterans dying before their time, we still have folks that will fight to keep the same ol’ VA.

You may be thinking of DAV (Disabled American Veterans) they usually have office right in VA facilities along with the VFW and American Legion.
CVA sounds awfully close to DAV to the uninitiated. The DAV does good work. I’ve never heard of CVA until tonight.
Interesting slant there. The real question is, why would they opt to attack a promise to make things better and have to fall back on words like "unserious" and "sketchy"?
Many here act the same way about Cruz because he hasn't put their own special interests at the top of his list of priorities and developed complete, ready to enact, plans for them.

Specifics??? How much specifics??? Trump has stated numerous times that if the VA won't see you in a timely manner, you are to go to the nearest public or private hospital and the VA will pick up the tab...

As far as bad employees, he of course will wait til he has a staff and advisers in place to develop the policy to get rid of the bad employees...
