U.S. Backed Moderate Rebels Put Alawite Women in Cages to Protect Themselves from Airstrikes
The Arab Source ^ | 11/01/15 | Leith Fadel

In order to deter the Syrian and Russian Air Forces inside the East Ghouta (collection of farms) region of rural Damascus, the U.S. backed moderate rebels from “Jaysh Al-Islam” (Army of Islam) and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) have placed kidnapped Alawite women in cages to protect themselves from airstrikes.

The U.S. backed Syrian Opposition’s social media activists posted the photos of the six kidnapped Alawite women on Twitter, adding their extra commentary that included sectarian insults to degrade the helpless women and taunt the Syrian President Dr. Bashar Al-Assad.

This is not the first time that the U.S. backed moderate rebels have used the Syrian people as human shields in order to deter airstrikes; however, this blatant disregard for human life has contradicted their alleged ethos to protect the Syrian people and put an end to the government of Dr. Bashar Al-Assad.

The six women were not identified by the U.S. backed moderate rebels, but they were described by the aforementioned Islamists as Alawites, per their sectarian insults they directed towards the kidnapped civilians.

Last month, the U.S. backed moderate rebels posted pictures that displayed their fighters posing with the mutilated heads of deceased Syrian soldiers; these pictures were followed with multiple videos from the Islamists that contained death threats to the Alawite Muslims of Syria.

I wish you guys could just be honest and say, “Yes, we realize that Romney wouldn’t have been as destructive to the country as Obama, but we thought it was more important to make a statement to the GOPe by casting a protest vote.”

I would disagree with the thinking behind such a position but at least it would be intellectually honest.

Well, I sure hope that people won't be put in the same position again next year. If the GOP doesn't nominate someone worth voting for, people will find someone else to vote for in 2016. And, that's just the way the world works.

The reality is that if you had not voted for Romney, the GOP would be just that much less likely to give you another version of Romney next year. You need to accept that reality and live with it somehow.

I swear it’s like arguing with crazy people.

In the real world there’s a finite pie of votes and the guy with the most votes wins. He’s the one who’s empowered. We know this because, for instance, when Obama won his elections he then had the power to shove Obamacare down our throats and wreck our foreign policy. Whatever “empowerment” third parties and write-in candidates got is too trivial in comparison to matter.

And because the pie is finite, there is indeed a negative effect to casting a vote. A vote for one guy is a vote some other guy didn’t get. And he may need that vote to win.

It’s not like the logic of this is complicated. Which is part of what makes your odd denials so pitiful.

BTW, who did you vote for?

You are insisting that you get less liberalism by voting for more of it.

Doesn’t matter. It was a conservative and I am not going to let you divert to who I voted for. YOU empowered the GOP to move left and they did. The only crazy person is you. But you arent crazy are you. You are a leftist with an agenda and in 12 you succeeded in getting 65,000,000 to not only waste their vote on a loss, but to empower your leftist candidates, one of which just said FOAD to America over cutting the funds from Planned Parenthood.

You did that. YOU. PERSONALLY.

Without YOUR browbeating many here would never have voted for him and thus would never have had Paul Ryan in a position ANYONE would have turned to him for over filling Bhoner’s shoes.

YOU are responsible. You and those here and across the right like you.

Personally.

He was forced by political reality to sign legislation he didn’t want to sign, and with a smile on his face. That is what you call moving rightward. Not as a matter of heart obviously but as a matter of action, which is what matters. Point being that politicians are influenced by their situation. Which undercuts your 1:1 extrapolation from how Romney governed in MA.

You get less liberalism by electing the candidate who is more conservative.

“He was forced by political reality to sign legislation he didn’t want to sign, “

So why did he state he was proud of it all?
If he didn’t want to, then don’t.
Force the legislature to own it completely.

Oh, yeah, you are outright lying.
That’s why.
Romney said he was PROUD to sign the gun ban bill.
He said he was PROUD or Romney care, be was PROUD of his pro abortion stance.

Tell me, do you back homosexual marriage, abortion, and gun bans?

And to do that you voted for an abortion funding gun grabber that fathered gay marriage and Obamacare in America.

Yup. Perfectly logical move on your part. How did I miss it?

Look young man, get off the floor. You arent going to have the candybar and your tantrum is embarrassing conservatives. Don’t make me call your father.

“The reason the party is so feckless is that conservatives aren’t playing the power game as skillfully as we should.”

Not voting for liberals works.
You should try it.
Tell me, do you support homosexual marriage, abortion, gun bans, illegal immigration, obamacare/romneycare, and higher taxes?

The party has crashed because it allowed liberal apologists like you in it. you and your disgusting fellows then campaigned for lesser evil and got greater evil for the effort.

Now, lacking the hindsight or the intelligence to deduce the obvious from the facts in evidence, you fling blame for your own actions like a monkey with a feces concession at a zoo.

Existential Cage Theory was designed specifically for people like you that deserve nothing more than to be put on display before the people you helped rob of their cash, rights and country with your liberal empowerment.

Clinton said he was proud of it all because there was a political reward for doing so. It didn’t mean his heart was in it.

I oppose homosexual marriage, abortion, and gun control. All of which have been advanced under Obama wherever there has been the slightest opportunity to do so — because he and his political base and his entire administration are ideological leftists who are deeply committed to these things.

Yet you helped enable his election.

He’s more conservative than Obama. That’s why conservatives like Sarah Palin endorsed him.
