The FBI aircraft are mostly Cessna 182s, with tiny FLIR cameras on them. The use of such devices is clearly covered in existing law and legal precedence. Baltimore PD and MD State Police have nicer cameras on their helicopters.

This is all an attempt to stir up trouble by the ACLU. The reason the FBI operates the aircraft under shell companies is to hide the ownership from their usual surveillance targets, high end criminal organizations that do counter surveillance.

You couldn’t be more incorrect. This is military tech developed for use in Iraq. It is very sophisticated and I’m appalled it is being used here.
