I agree with you about the GOPe leadership. There are still good Conservatives in the party. Whether the can wrest control from the country club set remains to be seen.
I'll grant you that it doesn't look promising.

The attempt to seat McCarthy and then crown Ryan after the Budget Surrender FOR TWO FULL YEARS - ought to illustrate that ‘wresting control’ of the GOP leadership is NOT a possibility.
Never mind the act that we are all about to discover how much the electoral process has been ‘fundamentally transformed’ in this country.
We are now Soviet. We just pretend we’re not.
