I’m slightly acquainted with Tom and the only surprise is that it took this long. Come on in Tom, the water’s fine.
Yeah, he’s imperfect. But he’s pretty good for a politician and I hope he can help Cruz.
Fail on Tancredo’s part. He saw that both factions of the uniparty were evil incarnate. But his response is to change the party affiliation on his voter registration? Weak sauce. Flaccid.
How about doing something that demands some character? Like walking away from a corrupt and rigged game.
Messages of the gop over time:
2010 -trust us, this time it’ll ne different
2012- trust us. It won’t be like last time. This time it’ll be different.
2014- No really. It’ll be different this time. You gotta trust us.
2016- come on, you can trust us. We promise it’ll be different this time.
No incentive.
It is very easy to understand. We have two political factions masquerading as opposing political parties. On a scale of one to 10, neither faction rates above a negative 4. Its not so much a case of taking the good with the bad, it’s a case of taking the wretched with the Godawful.
Under such circustances, the most logical course of action is to go fishing instead. You at least have a chance of catching a fish.
So true. The GOPe thinks we’re as dumb and uninformed as the Democrat electorate is. We’re not and that’s why they’re so frustrated with us.
You suggest marrying a crack whore?
Tancredo was anti-establishment before anti-establishment was cool.
He wanted to attack the saudis after 9/11.
He was for amend 64 in colorado. The pot amendment.
He is very anti illegal alien.
He has a very conservative nat defense but liberty minded domestic issue.
I like tommy tank tancredo.
Here's a clue. If you're going to make a hit-like comment on what somebody says, why don't you take the time necessary to read what the author actually said, not what was paraphrased by somebody else? Jeez.
Tom ain’t perfect but he is far better than 75% of the other republicans in dc.
Here’s what I had to work with.
In a panel discussion at the University of Colorado after the recent Republican debate, I was asked by a student why she should be a Republican. The question forced me to ask myself the same thing.
I gave the young woman the standard talking points
After much thought, I reluctantly concluded that the answer is ââ¬Åno.ââ¬
You seem to be stuck on stupid. Why don't you actually read the Breitbart piece? Too much work to reference the source?
Quote:
“But as I drove home, her question -- and my inability to respond with any level of real conviction -- got me thinking: Does the Republican Party leadership fight for these values and principles today?
After much thought, I reluctantly concluded that the answer is "no".; That's all I'm going to say about this matter. Any more is a waste of my time.
Oh, okay. I see what you mean.
It isn’t worth the candle going
to every source before making
a comment, though. But thanks
for the correction.
You’re welcome, and sorry for being so harsh. I’ve had a bad day and too little patience. I’ll work on that going forward. Thanks.
I like Tancredo a great deal.
I haven’t formally unregistered myself from GOP, but this latest travesty is exactly why I don’t really consider myself GOP anymore. The two-year spending bill, the back-door agreement on TPP and Iranian nukes, their enthusiasm for funding the head-choppers at Planned Parenthood, their attacks on conservatives, their refusal to back Cruz on anything, their back-stabbing of conservatives in various races around the country... I’ve had it.
At this point I’m for anyone who will defend our sovereignty. Thats a pretty short list.
“ON a scale of 10 to 1 with 10 being in America’s best interest, it is up to YOU to decide to support the party nearest that 10. But no party is a 10 just as no woman is a 10.”
I have to agree. I was a Republican, got frustrated and turned Independent, and re-registered GOP so I could vote in primaries.
The problem is that there aren’t enough conservatives in this country. We need to build a coalition with the center-right in order to get over that 50% threshold. If we all bolt the GOP, we’ll end up with a small Conservative party, a small GOP, and a Democratic Party twice as big. They’ll be in power for generations unchecked.
That’s why I’m voting for Cruz. It’s the only way to drag the party back to us, which is the only way to save the nation.
