(general Welfare does NOT mean transfer payments, free healthcare, etc.)

A government's job is actually pretty simple. But, if it stays within its limits, politicians cannot buy votes or make themselves wealthy and bureaucrats cannot build their empires.

Which, in the end, explains everything.

Yes, and when it expands beyond it limits it’s like one of those radioactive monsters from a 1950’s horror film that grows and takes over civilization.
