I thought that the TEA Party was dead. I’ve been told so repeatedly by Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, and the liberal media.

And not destroyed by the GOPe as they promised their toadies.

They say the Tea Party is some sort of virus when in reality it is the antidote.

Fools. Let them live their fantasy. We’ll pick off the rest of them in due time.

Ryan is gonna get “CANTORED” !

:-)

Exactly.
Like “global warming” they ran the wheels off “vast right wing conspiracy” (like “Religious Right”), so now they use another pejorative term.
We’re just the ones in the middle, those in harness who grease the gears and run the machines.
The gibsmedats have to call us by a name and middle class, working class or “majority” doesn’t work for them.

The Hill explains how the Tea Party has taken over the GOP. Since the GOP took the wheel of the 114thCongress in January, all they seem to have accomplished is driving the institution into the ground—guided by ineffective, chaotic leadership that’s part and parcel with the Republican Party’s new extremism.

The Tea Party took over?

Paul Ryan was just elected...

It's hard to come up with words to express how completely confused some writers can be.

Man, I wish the Tea Party had taken over the GOP. We wouldn't have that piece of crap budget deal if the Tea Party had taken over the GOP.

Tea Party —broken by the MSM and the GOPe —isn’t dead. It has returned as the not so silent majority. Trump has re-energized the movement and we shall see how alive they are when the votes are cast.

Stephanie Schriock is the president of EMILY’s List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, and co-chairs the Democratic Governors Association’s

Schriock previously managed the races of Senator Al Franken in 2008 and Senator Jon Tester in 2006. She was also Finance Director for Howard Dean’s 2004 Presidential campaign.

The hard-fought Franken victory solidified Stephanie's reputation as a major force in Democratic politics. "Stephanie's one of the absolute stars of American politics now," says White House Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina (Washington Post, 7/13/09). Consultant Mandy Grunwald called Stephanie "one of the best campaign managers I've ever worked with" (Washington Post, 7/13/09). And in 2007, Washingtonian magazine named her one of "Forty Under Forty: Young Washingtonians to Watch."

The GOP didn't create the Tea Party movement.

Exactly, but this article was written by a female political strategist who ran Al Franken's campaign. So anyone right of a communist is a right wing lunatic to her.

The Tea Party protest in DC was just the warning shot across the bow of the USSGOP. It did not turn back and became more belligerent than ever. Trump is the stinger missile. They see it coming.
