Talk about OBTUSE! Plague is carried by live mammals, who die, and the fleas jump to a new host. SPREAD by fleas. Fleas are the vector. Gee, what matches those criteria?

Hmmm, thinking, thinking, thinking... Just suppose some illegal, from some disease ridden Third World toilet, heads north, fleas and all, and shares those fleas with something else with warm blood?

This isn't rocket science.

I have heard that plague has always been found in some rural parts of New Mexico in the rodent population. Has this kid traveled there recently?
