Most every reply should start with, “I want to talk about Obama & Hillary lying to the American people...”

Quintanilla proceeds from an unspoken premise that candidates must answer any question posed no matter how it is presented and no matter what premise it is based on.

And how often do they proceed in this same way with Hillary or any other dem? Never. And she nevers answers a question directly anyway.

That’s pretty awesome that he did that. Glad to see we have options for candidates that have boldness and courage.

For the next debate, Trump should propose to the other candidates that he will be their spokesman. If they get a leftist question, Trump would make eye contact with the others, and when they nod in agreeement, he would then say, “We will not respond to that, next question please”.

Cruz is generally reasoned, clear and to the point. Just don’t push him. Exactly what we need in a president.

I was impressed that he remembered every BS question and who they were asked of then went down the line and listed them like bullet points.

It's an old trick... presenting a question which you CANNOT answer properly or HONESTLY without making yourself look very bad or very stupid or very dishonest.

It's how the Left perpetually controls and manipulates the debates.

I used to work at a ‘survey research’ center and THEIR questions were identically structured.

No Conservative could select any POSSIBLE response (of the many available on ANY question) without making him/herself look like a knuckle scrapping Neanderthal, bigoted, chauvinistic, child murdering, greedy, uncaring and lunatic, out-of-touch reactionary on EVERY issue.

There is NO such thing as an unbiased survey... DO NOT e v e r submit yourself to them.

What, if anything, is stopping the top 4-5 candidates from bypassing the RNC process and simply scheduling their own debate, in a venue of their own choice, with moderators of their mutual choosing?

“Cruz contrasted moderators’ treatment of Republicans with their treatment of Democrats:

…every fawning question from the media was, “Which of you is more handsome and wise? …”

I think he mighta “out Trumped” Trump with that one. : )

I thought Bush was a total dud when he actually tried to answer the question about online fantasy football. He should have immediately done what Christie did later - pointed out that with all the serious issues confronting the country you are seriously asking a question about fantasy football. Really? Really? He’s the only candidate that could have failed to knock such a stupid question out of the park. Stick a fork in him.

Can you imagine Cruz and Trump together and tag-teaming?

Oh, man, sends a thrill up my leg!

So? The next “Democrat” debate, can we have Rush, Levin and Savage asked the questions? (I had to thrown in Savage in lieu of any other popular conservative to show a little diversity). Like that would ever happen. Why does the RNC go along with the inquisition members of the Press? Don’t they have a choice? Can’t they refuse? Hillary’s people would be outraged if any network allowed a Conservative to ask her questions. I feel Bernie, would not, he wouldn’t care who asked the questions, so long as he could say what he wants.

“By accepting questions as asked, candidates concede the premises upon which those questions are based.”

Precisely! Something the GOPe has conceded almost universally since the departure of Newt Gingrich. While attacking Hillary, Bernie or whomever will become necessary at some point, answers to biased and leading questions should begin with, “First of all, I totally reject the fallacious premise on which your question is based.” In some cases, I might add, “OK smartass,...”

It is funny that the moderators ran to Kasic after Cruz’s beat down of them. They knew Kasic would not attack them.

And yet, the morons of the leftist media still will think they did nothing wrong. Clowns like Chris Matthews and Philip Bump of the WaPo will continue to expect republicans to smile into the camera while being eviscerated by “moderators,” in just the same manner all democrats expect Israelis and Jews in general to repeat their passive reactions to a newly unfolding Holocaust. It’s how democrats see their blood enemies, republicans and Jews,; a good one is supposed to quietly go to his death without complaining or resisting.

After Cruz destroyed them, Carl Quintanilla said, "I just want the record to reflect that I did not get an answer to my question."

"The record to reflect?"

Bi+*#, Ted Cruz was arguing in front of The Supreme Court of The United States while you were at home watching Judge Judy in your underpants

I know JR has a policy of no violence.

But, like Dr. King, I have a dream. I see Republican candidates charging the moderators, taking them down, and beating them to bloody masses of pulp.

In my dream, the audience is allowed to participate in the beatings.
