Barack Obama: Enemy of Christianity
Erick On The Radio ^ | 10/27/2015 | Erick Erickson

Oh I’m sure some people are going to be outraged at me by saying that. Except it was not me. It was all but said by Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk to the participants at the Synod on the Family in the Vatican.

Metropolitan Hilarion is from the Russian Orthodox Church and addressed the assembled clerics at the synod. In his address, he included this bit:

“ The authorities of some European countries and America, in spite of numerous protests, including those by Catholics, continue to advocate policies aimed at the destruction of the very concept of the family. They not only on the legislative level equate of the status of the same-sex unions to that of marriage but also criminally persecute those who out of their Christian convictions refuse to register such unions. Immediately after the departure of Pope Francis from the USA, President Barack Obama openly declared that gay rights are more important than religious freedom. This clearly testifies to the intention of the secular authorities to continue their assault on those healthy forces in society which defend traditional family values.

You can deny the implication all you want and you will be wrong. But before you decide this is just Russian propaganda, consider his overall message. He actually called on the Catholic Church to be as Catholic in their doctrine as possible to uphold the family.

That wasn’t Russian propaganda. It was a strongly orthodox . . . well . . . Orthodox priest calling out the President of the United States for telling Pope Francis to his face that the President values religious freedom only to openly decare “that gay rights are more important than religious freedom” after the Pope left U.S. airspace.

> I especially love the selfie the US Marshall took while treading water. Seemingly oblivious that one of his fellow passengers was under duress.

A “proof of service” photo. I wonder if any of the witnesses in that crash have joined Fuddy since...

Read THIS report. Two witnesses say Fuddy exited the plane in her life jacket and was fine showing no signs of distress then floated off away from the group. I had never heard that before:

Here's the good stuff in the report:

"Clyde Kawasaki, the pilot and Phillip Hollstein, a passenger, say that Fuddy exited the plane just fine and was floating in her life jacket. That she had no obvious signs of injury. They were with her for the first twenty five minutes in the water and did not see her drowning or sinking or struggling. When the plane began to sink and the group drifted apart, Fuddy floated off with her co-worker and Deputy Director, Keith Yamamoto. Kawasaki 35 and Hollstein 36 have said they were surprised and shocked when they heard later that Fuddy had died because she had been fine when they last saw her with the group.

The one person who could have provided the most valuable “scene” information to Harle was Keith Yamamoto. He was the last person to see Fuddy alive and the only person to have witnessed her apparent death. But the MPD didn’t think that fact was important and never interviewed him. 37 The MPD also never conducted an investigation into the death of Fuddy, as required by HRS 841-3 whenever there is an accidental death.38 39 40 41 42 43

At least the seeds have been planted for such a reunion.

Wouldn’t be too much if Obama’s anti-Christian actions led to the reunion of the Catholic and Orthodox churches.

Never happen as long as Francis the talking mule heads up the Vatican which is now the seat of the new religion that bows to the secular humanists.

Putin stated that the Eastern Christian Church is important to Russia and its people. He encourages daily prayer and worship of the Holy Trinity.

Makes a nice change from when he's killing them, I guess.
