There is at least more than one reason, two of which are really simple. First, to depose Ghadaffi, arms were sent to Ansar al Sharia, an al Qiada affiliate. Al Qaida is a named enemy of the United States by statutory law. Providing aid to an enemy is... So, Stevens was aware of an act of treason on the part of at least Hillary. Second, the motive for said treason to destabilize Ghadaffi in addition to Xero's eschatological Islamic wet dreams was very possibly to make money for her buddy Sid Vicious Blumenthal and his sponsors at British Petroleum. I can't imagine Stevens didn't know, but both are knowing too much.

Two, Hillary wasn't in the DoD chain of command. So who relieved Gen. Ham and told every manjack in the Med basin to "stand down"? It wasn't Leon the Peon, LBJ's and Slick's former water boy, he's never had the stature to make big-league calls like that.

So what was Obozo's angle on this? He wasn't just The Man Behind the Curtain, he was the quarterback on a halfback pass option play. Other people were in motion and in the slot, but he was the guy who called the play in the huddle. </off endless sports analogies>

Last point, I didn't understand something you said. Who was receiving the arms in Syria? We were recovering them, and then transshipping them to an Al-Q'aeda affiliate? OK, then why would the MB/AQIM crowd try to level our facilities and sodomy-murder our ambassador?
