Not to worry, just a minor setback - they'll vote and vote until they get the fink in.

His opening play was to lie about being involved in the new break the bank debt ceiling without a ceiling.
That would sure change my mind if I’d been wondering.

The RINO old-guard establishment is having a hard time letting go. It has been years in the making, but the Republican Party needs to change or be replaced.
While Paul Ryan is not my favorite choice, he is a very smart career politician. Hopefully smart enough to realize that if he caters to only the old-guard he will be shown the door like his predecessor.
Again, Ryan is smart and ambitious, so he may help change the party for the better. I won't hold my breath, he has maybe 100 to 150 days to show he has the right stuff.

The budget deal is killing Ryan. It isn’t Boehner’s deal, but Ryan’s. Unless Ryan shows more mettle, the GOP is costing itself the high ground.

He will get at least 100 Democrat votes.
This is a done deal. If it’s not him, it will be Steny Hoyer.

Guess he shouldn't have demanded overturning Jefferson's chair vacating rule, or promised to pass everything homobama wanted in the budget.
If you're going to be a whore for the CoC, at least try to be less obvious and shameless about it.

It is believed that more than half the GOPers who did not vote for Ryan on the nomination, are not among the 40+ most conservative members and are likely to vote for Ryan when the nomination is put before the House.

Dear WSJ Editors:
Obama’s full budget was passed by all House Democrats, supported by just enough of the Republican “Leadership” including Ryan and Boehner, with the approval of Paul Gigot’s Wall Street Journal Editorial Page, and in spite of the opposition of the vast majority of the Republican caucus and every conservative of note.
Nobody has credibly claimed that conservatism won anything, so this is not compromise. Republican “Leadership” did not complain that they were forced, so this is not even capitulation.
The masks are off at the Halloween Ball, and approving all of Obama’s budget demonstrates that Obama, Boehner, Ryan and Gigot are all leaders of the pro-government liberal Uniparty.

Everyone knew we would get Boehner 3.0 everyone.
I'm only a little sorry that it wasn't McCarthy instead, but I always believed Webster never had a chance.
After seeing mitt there, I swear, if I ever see his or ryan's name on a ballot for president again,or anything else, I'm voting against them.
