House Republicans Renege on Every Promise with Infuriating Budget Deal
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | October 28,2015 | Rush Limbaugh

The spending caps that they negotiated with Obama? They've blown those up. The one thing that they won, spending caps, they got rid of them themselves in this deal. I'm trying to understand, are they totally in debt to K Street? Do they all have jobs waiting for them on K Street? It doesn't compute here. Who are these people in the House Republican leadership? What are they? I'll tell you what I've concluded, and it's something that I have forecast before, mentioned before. We've even discussed it on this program.

I think what's going on in Washington right now -- and it isn't new, it's just more visible than it's ever been. I think there's all kinds of bipartisanship going on in Washington. I think there's all kinds of cooperation going on in Washington. I think that it's kumbaya time. I think they are linked arm in arm. I think the bipartisan project is to destroy conservatism. I think they would be happy. They would prefer... I'm talking about the Republican leadership. Not the whole membership, but the Republican leadership.

I have the idea they would be happier with Hillary Clinton as president than Ted Cruz, and that's not a feeling. I know that almost for a fact. I know that with almost ontological certitude. They, as members of the inside-the-Beltway establishment, no way, no how do they want anybody like Ted Cruz in the White House. They would much prefer Hillary. The only thing that explains this, looked at in any kind of prism of common sense, is that there is a combined bipartisan effort to finally render conservatives and conservatism as irrelevant as a pockmark.

Rush’s show today belongs in the Smithsonian Institute, it was that great.

Trump would be limited to what he can do too.
Trent Lott once said “you can’t change Washington”.
I laughed at the time.

I now believe he was right about what he said.

They all see the ship is sinking and they are taking what they can before manning the life rafts.

Don’t often agree with Rush but he is spot on with this. Why I said yesterday ... I am done voting. Let ‘sm carry on without me. There is truly no point. Doesn’t matter who is in office, it is all the same.

Quite frankly, never thought I’d live long enough to “hear” myself say that.

Before this abomination, I might have wavered in my support for Trump. NO MORE!! The GOP leadership needs to be marched out, stripped, and have lit sticks of dynamite shoved up their fundaments. The Donald is the only one mean, rude, and crude enough to do it. GO DONALD!

I haven’t reached that point yet, but I’m close. I’m hoping a Cruz or maybe a Trump could shake things up a little. I can’t give up hope yet. If I do, where would I go?

of course the Republican Party (aka "THE STUPID PARTY!") wants Hitlery Rotten Clinton for President.

Hasn't it been obvious to anyone with an IQ over 78 and with a pulse?!

With all the discontent on the left with the Democrat establishment, and on the right with the Republican GOP-E, the one thing that's become crystal clear to me these past 4-6 months now is that NO ONE is happy with EITHER party.

Democrats could always count on the left/far left/progressive wing of their party to fall in line come election day as they united in their hatred for all things Republican and certainly in all things Conservative.

Republicans & Conservatives would usually but not always unite in opposition to Democrats/Leftists/Progressives on election day.

While it's not completely unusual for Republicans & Conservatives to split on election day, I cannot think of a single time in my 53 years on this earth that the far left/socialist/progressive/extremist liberal leftists did not unite with the Democrats on election election day to vote against Republican's.

Yes, it's a long way until election day and anything can happen, but the mere fact that the liberal/socialist/extremist wing of the Democrat party is so removed from the presumed Democrat nominee, Hitlery Rotten Clinton at this stage is very, very unusual.

I read this morning that 85% of the country believes we're headed in the wrong direction. That 85% can't be just Conservatives or Republicans.

So what part of Velvet Fascist Coup do you folks fail to understand?

Washington knows where the power will lie, and they are doing everything they can to share in it.

We’ve been overthrown. The Republic is done, fundamentally transformed - right under your noses, and most don’t see it.

They think they can rectify it next November.

And I laugh at them.

You cannot stop a fascist tyranny via voting. That is just the illusion used to keep you docile and compliant.

I think Rush’s full condemnation of this is a major problem for them. The game is up.

I’ve spent 17 years on Free Republic saying that of course we have to vote for the republicans.

I’d still vote for Trump, Cruz, maybe a few others for president.

But at this point I think the GOPe has sold out America, they are bought and paid for cowardly scum, and frankly I think the GOP needs to collapse and someday be replaced with a conservative party.

And I think all of that means America is royally screwed. If 40 million illegals who have no right here are now viewed as occupying the moral high ground, so as to screw the American worker to lose his job and make less, it is over.

Welcome to Mexico Norte / New Islamic State - take your pick.

It’s going to make the upcoming TPP battle interesting, that’s for sure. With the GOP carrying Obama’s water on that it is going to get UGLY. The Congressional Dems will sit back and watch that @#$@ show.

So instead of not voting, why don’t you join the constitution party? Granted they are a third party, but that way, in your own small way, you can help make it not a third party. And it does give you some voice in the elections, albeit a losing voice, rather than no voice. I do not understand the idea of just not voting.

You just pointed to exactly why I hate the Republican Party and more specifically the GOP-E so much:

Say what you want about the Democrats, they say what they're going to do before election time, and when elected they do what they said they were going to do.

I personally could NEVER vote for a Democrat myself because they're opposed to all things that are good, true, moral and American.

The Republicans on the other hand (not to be confused with Conservatives, which I'll get to in a moment) all talk a good game before they're elected, and will say things that the base wants to hear.

Once elected however, they play nice with the Democrats and completely ignore their base as they break every single promise they made one after another, after another.

Conservatives, if fortunate/lucky enough to make it past the demonization of Democrats, the liberal media, and the Republican Establishment itself and actually get elected, are so far outnumbered, continually demonized and marginalized ALL BY THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ITSELF that we literally don't have a chance in hell of actually getting Congress and the President to do the right thing.

And THAT is why I hate the Republican Party, its leadership, the GOP-E and any/all things associated with them with every fiber of my being.

They need to be taken out back behind the woodshed and NEVER SEEN OR HEARD FROM AGAIN.
